Scott Ackerman - MBA Executive Management (Management Consulting Specialization)

I entered the MBA Executive Management (Management Consulting Specialization) program at Royal Roads with a specific goal of leveraging my degree to make a successful transition from global leadership at Hewlett Packard into a management consulting career.

Less than four months after convocation, I was invited to join Western Management Consultants, one of Canada’s oldest and most well respected consulting firms.  Less than 24 months after convocation, I became a partner and now operate  a successful, well established practice. My confidence has never been higher.

Royal Roads’ applied program provided me with a brass tacks education that, combined with career experience, provides my clients with thought provoking, yet pragmatic advice. Interestingly, the MBA has also provided me with skills required to be an astute business owner, which has accelerated my consulting practice’s success through self-branding and strategic practice growth planning.
