With borders blurred by globalization, it's important to know how to work with different cultures.
That's a fact Jas Bharaj knew from her own experiences living on several continents, but it is through the Master of Global Management at Royal Roads University that she is learning to apply and adapt business techniques.
"It is important to remember that the world is now globalizing, interactions through ever increasing technology is proving that national borders are turning out to be only lines on a global map. And successful business across these borders needs to incorporate cultural variants."
The program is intense with a lot of knowledge gained over a short period of time. The course challenges you to be prompt, dedicated and motivated to get through the materials. The discussions are geared toward critical thinking and analyzing, she says.
"The MGM cohort is composed of individuals from several parts of the world, bringing together cultural experiences that will definitely impact and influence our manner of interaction with employers from various parts of the world. Hence, allowing us to gain much more knowledge about cultural variants of the globe. This is unlike any other business master's degree."
