Harbhajan Parhar - Master of Business Administration (MBA)

I was born in Bombay, now Mombai, and live in Vancouver where I am the lead for software development for ACL Services Ltd. We create auditing solutions, business analytic solutions, for accountants.

I heard about the RRU program when someone applied for a job as a product manager who was in it and she told me about some of the people on her team and that got me interested. I wanted people in my cohort like me, who have tons of experience. I came for a visit and sat in on classes one day and that decided me. I liked the dialogue in the classroom. It was amazing; I could see the experience behind it.

The MBA is partly a personal goal but I also hope to get the tools that I need it for the next step. I want to be able to transfer skills from the area I know to another. Right now I don`t feel confident that I can do that because I have only an intuitive understanding, not a theoretical one. An MBA will help to bridge that gap.
