This certificate program is designed for people in the private, government, or not for profit sectors who wish to advance their professional tourism, parks, recreation, and urban planning careers, and the effectiveness of their particular agency in addressing tourism opportunities, issues and challenges. 

Career opportunities exist in private tourism companies, destination management and marketing agencies, federal, provincial and local levels of government, chambers of commerce, and educational institutions.
