Greg Cran has spent more than 25 years working in conflicts ranging from hunger fasts and blockades to bombing and arson among the Russian Doukhobors. In 1986, an intervention process he created helped to end eight decades of bombings and arson among the Doukhobors. He received the Solicitor General of Canada`s crime prevention award for this work.
He served as a provincial treaty negotiator for First Nation land claim and self government agreements and, more recently, has worked with parliamentarians from Asia, South Asia and Africa on governance and conflict issues in those regions.
