Academic excellence and accessibility are hallmarks of Royal Roads University. University Life offers a variety of financial assistance programs to students. Awards are available to recognize academic and community achievements. As well, bursaries that supplement income for those in financial need.

The Royal Roads University Foundation raises funds annually in support of bursaries and awards for deserving students who need help accessing an RRU education. The foundation seeks charitable contributions from individuals, corporations, other foundations, governments and community groups across Canada and around the world. The University and its students are grateful for the support our generous contributors make each year to help Royal Roads University students in need.
Bursaries are a supplemental source of funding for learners in financial need. Students are expected to find their primary funding through other sources such as government student loan or grant programs, part-time work, and savings. To receive a Royal Roads University bursary, students must have a demonstrated financial need and must submit a completed bursary application form. Bursary application forms can also be picked up from the University Life office in Grant 130.
