Program Description

The Certificate in Environmental Practice features common core courses and ten specialized concentrations. The program is entirely distance-based.

The Certificate is coordinated and awarded by Royal Roads University.  Students in the Certificate program enroll in pre-approved elective courses offered through partnering colleges and universities from across Canada.

The full program is 30 credits long, which is roughly equivalent to ten semester-length courses.  The program completion time will vary according the course load of each student. Most students will take between two and five years, on a part-time basis, to complete the Certificate in Environmental Practice.
