Course Description:

PCOM 631: Introduces the principles and strategies essential to writing professional nonfiction. Students assess the elements and mechanics of good writing through analysis and discussion of various nonfiction markets, queries, styles, and formats. Considers the role and responsibilities of the professional writer, and introduces the business of professional writing at a general level. (3 credits)
