Multimodal Communication Across Cultures
Course Description:
IICS 525 : Introduces strategies designed to enhance clear and effective multimodal communication for diverse audiences. Examines the basic principles of applied, professional communication in different media markets, international settings, and cross-cultural interaction. Students improve their ability to analyze communication situations and to design and produce culturally and media-appropriate communication through a series of writing and multimodal presentation projects. Introduces students to concepts useful for culturally specific and globally successful hypermedia design, publications, and presentations. (3 credits)
