Major Research Project

Course Description:

DEMN 690*: Requires students to complete an independent Major Research Project, which is original, sustained, and creative.  Project must demonstrate the student's knowledge of disaster and emergency management theory and the ability to apply it in the field. Students are responsible for selecting a topic and finding an academic advisor and organizational site sponsor. All topics require the approval of the academic program, the student’s academic advisor and the site sponsor. Regulations and procedures are detailed in the Major Research Project Handbook. (12 credits)
