Leading Change in Organizations
Course Description:
LEAD 626: Fosters the perspective and competencies of the leader engaged in facilitating or creating change through an action research and action learning inquiry process. Examines theories,models, purposes, and general strategies for organizational change. Introduces the use of the literature and organizational data to focus change initiatives. Fosters the development of effective communication, trust-building, collaboration, and the practice of espoused principles and values to facilitate the change process. Provides a conceptual overview of all phases and conditions for effective and ethical organizational change. Emphasizes the role of evidence and data in supporting a change initiative. (3 credits)
