Course Description:

BUSA 513: Builds on students’ work from prior courses to examine how managers can apply performance and process improvement techniques to enhance the ways in which operations and information systems support the strategy of an organization.  Focusing on Lean Management principles (popularized as the “Toyota way”), the course places particular emphasis on a system that employs evidence-based decision making and teamwork to deliver the value that customers desire in both service and product-oriented organizations. (3 credits)
