Applied Inquiry Methods for Organizational Leadership
Course Description:
LEAD 627: Familiarizes student with the basic principles and models of research design, introducing them to the action research approach in comparison with more traditional methodologies. Specifically examines and explores organizational inquiry methodologies and the related data gathering and analysis methods for organizational intervention. Enables students to select, and sequence methods of data gathering and analysis, and engage participants appropriate to specific project purposes. Actively engages students individually and in teams in the use of, and assessment of possibilities and limitations of specific inquiry methods. Provides students with University guidelines for the Organizational Leadership Project and Thesis approval processes including research ethics. (3 credits)
