Flexible Admission
- To be considered for Flexible Admission, applicants would normally require a minimum of five years related work experience.

The Certificate in Environmental Practice is designed for:
- Environmental practitioners seeking to update their knowledge and skills and to upgrade their academic qualifications
- Recent and potential immigrants to Canada to ensure their existing environmental credentials and competencies can be measured and recognized
- College graduates looking to ladder their college credentials into a university degree
- University graduates looking for a professional focus to add to their qualifications.
Application Requirements
Applicants considered for Standard Admission are only required to submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions.
Applicants considered for Flexible Assessment will be required to submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions as well as a detailed resume, personal statement and two letters of reference.
Detailed Resumes should include:
- Employment history
- Training and professional development
- Voluntary/unpaid work experience
- Information technology training and experience
- Professional memberships and affiliations
- Publications and relevant projects completed
Personal Statement should include:
- Vision for the personal benefit the program will have to your career and/or personal life
Two Letters of Reference should include:
- Supporting statements of your capabilities and the benefit this program will have to your career
