Created by the Government of British Columbia in 1995, Royal Roads University is a public university and member of these (and other) organizations:    

The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) is the voice of Canada's universities. AUCC represents 95 Canadian public and private not-for-profit universities and university-degree level colleges.    

Canadian Association of Graduate Studies (CAGS) was founded in 1962 to promote graduate education and university research through meetings, publications and advocacy.    

Education Quality Assurance (EQA) is Canada's first and only provincial post-secondary education brand of quality. EQA provides one standard provincial seal that can be recognized globally as a symbol of quality education and consumer protection.

 

Canadian Bureau for International Education is a national membership organization dedicated to the promotion of Canada's international relations through international education.

 

The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) obtains, on an annual basis, student participation information from hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide.

The BC Council for International Education (BCCIE) is committed to advancing the international education interests of the province of British Columbia.

The Canadian Association of Research Ethics Boards (CAREB) is a grassroots national membership organization intended to represent the interests of all Canadian Research Ethics Boards (REBs) and to reflect REB perspectives and concerns.  

Canadian Association of University Research Administrators (CAURA) is a national voice for research administrators in Canada. Distinct from other national organizations, CAURA's strength is in its diversity and comprehensive approach to research administration. CAURA provides a critical interface between all stakeholders in the management of the research enterprise. 

Canadian Federation for Humanities and Social Sciences (CFHSS). Representing more than 50,000 researchers in 75 scholarly associations, 75 universities and colleges, and 7 affiliates, the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences is the national voice for the university research and learning community in these disciplines. 

Canada Council for Learning (CCL) is a national, independent, and non-profit corporation that is committed to improving learning across the country and across all walks of life.
